The shot was stopped by Jonathan Ferrant but with some difficulty. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Csaba Kossuth sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Jungle Circus booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Csaba Kossuth struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jungle Circus. In the 19th minute Thorkil Strømbæk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jungle Circus's Malte Eriksen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 22nd minute of play forced Jungle Circus's goalkeeper Doğukan Artan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Malte Eriksen was slow to take the kick. During this time Jungle Circus's players had a chance to rest. Jungle Circus were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Malte Eriksen took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Thorkil Strømbæk managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jungle Circus's Thorkil Strømbæk got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğukan Artan having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jungle Circus the free kick. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Csaba Kossuth made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Csaba Kossuth in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Csaba Kossuth made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Csaba Kossuth in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Thorkil Strømbæk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Agger kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 66 played minutes Jungle Circus got a freekick which was hit by Dirch Pilbak. The supporters of Jungle Circus booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Secada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jungle Circus made a substitution. Edvardt Lindloff replaced Thorkil Strømbæk. Jungle Circus's Buster Haarby was substituted for Malte Eriksen. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Doğukan Artan made a huge save. After 76 minutes Jungle Circus's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Jungle Circus's Doğukan Artan managed to reach the ball for a save. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Buster Haarby in the 78th minute of the match. The corner ended in Buster Haarby almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. The Jungle Circus fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Jungle Circus's Csaba Kossuth looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jungle Circus's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
