Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mateo Palacio took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Mexico booed when Zjem Cię was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Palacio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Mateo Palacio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zjem Cię's Napoleon Jajko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zjem Cię's Tolek Wojtyna got a free kick in the 12th minute. Mateo Palacio might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateo Palacio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th minute, Lorenzo Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zjem Cię's Tolek Wojtyna got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Zjem Cię getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Czeslaw Pawlak hit a great ball. When Macos Graciani fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Macos Graciani a yellow card for diving instead. Macos Graciani kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Zjem Cię's Mateo Palacio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 34th minute of the match Zjem Cię got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tolek Wojtyna ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Czeslaw Pawlak heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Zjem Cię getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Mateo Palacio hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Zjem Cię's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Napoleon Jajko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zjem Cię's Napoleon Jajko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Zjem Cię was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Morrison to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Napoleon Jajko. Zjem Cię's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Zjem Cię's Ciriaco Emenon was substituted for Tolek Wojtyna. After the first half Mexico were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Mateo Palacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Palacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62ndth minute of the game Mateo Palacio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zjem Cię's Murillo Cedeno was substituted for Iwo Cwynar. A collision led to Zjem Cię getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Amador Presebal hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Joel Gaona hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Palacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Palacio in the 71st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Palacio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Palacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Napoleon Jajko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Mateo Palacio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Mateo Palacio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zjem Cię's Napoleon Jajko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 94th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Palacio in the 96th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Palacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
