Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Athletico Picapedrense's goalkeeper Jesus Sayveon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 7th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Athletico Picapedrense's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Luz Tejedor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jesus Sayveon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 9th minute of play forced Athletico Picapedrense's goalkeeper Jesus Sayveon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesus Sayveon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juanito Gabucio was slow to take the kick. During this time Athletico Picapedrense's players had a chance to rest. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jesus Sayveon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Jesus Sayveon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 20th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesus Sayveon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Sayveon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Milagros Fraga made a precise shot to the right of Jesus Sayveon. Athletico Picapedrense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Sayveon having to interfere. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jesus Sayveon. Jesus Sayveon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The Athletico Picapedrense players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-2.

Athletico Picapedrense's Orlondo Aguado was substituted for Zenon Klewinski. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Milagros Fraga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesus Sayveon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Athletico Picapedrense's Jesus Sayveon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 56th minute of play. Jesus Sayveon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Athletico Picapedrense's Eloi Fontanella was substituted for Hristo Stoichkov. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 62nd minute. A hard shot 72 in the game by Julian Murillo from a close distance when the talented Jesus Sayveon managed to make a qualified save. Athletico Picapedrense's players were relieved. 74 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jesus Sayveon, 0-3. Jesus Sayveon was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Julian Murillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julian Murillo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Jesus Sayveon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. In the 90th minute, Rafael Gallo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jesus Sayveon. The goal made the score 0-5. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlondo Aguado in the 94th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Milagros Fraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lorenzo Jubera got a throw-in 96 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Cristo Uria. The Athletico Picapedrense fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
