Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores del Ángel Gris the free kick. After 41 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. Defensores del Ángel Gris's Eleuterio Estebano shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marcos Cotilla but with some difficulty. Miguel Miralles kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Nicolas Silveira's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolas Silveira helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Defensores del Ángel Gris's Nicolas Silveira got a free kick in the 44th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Panama's Abraham Alguacil tried to score from far away in the 45th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Nicolás DAndrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 46th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Defensores del Ángel Gris's Gaspar Chaime got a free kick in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After having played for 52 minutes, Leonides Natanael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores del Ángel Gris's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonides Natanael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Nicolás DAndrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eleuterio Estebano hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Eleuterio Chabier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Leonides Natanael kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. With a little luck, Defensores del Ángel Gris's Nicolás DAndrea got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Nicolás DAndrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Defensores del Ángel Gris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafim Catranides to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolás DAndrea having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafim Catranides in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafim Catranides charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serafim Catranides the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Felipe Ros's late challenge caught a Defensores del Ángel Gris's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Ros helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense.
