A wasted opportunity for Winksele 2016. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Winksele 2016's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Illescas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ben Dillemans quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sylven Van Der Meeren, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ben Dillemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ben Dillemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sylven Van Der Meeren was the one to do the kick off. Sylven Van Der Meeren took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The throw-in from Guillermo Mariano in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Winksele 2016's Georg Söderqvist. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 73rd minute, Sylven Van Der Meeren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Tommie Verhengen charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tommie Verhengen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quirin Brauer in the 80th minute of play. Georg Söderqvist scored 3-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee gave Winksele 2016 a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Big Hulk, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. 4-1.
