In the 29th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Ponce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when 余义桑 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 邵邦沙 in the 32nd minute of the match. 上海江南长兴造船农民工联队's Anastasio Ponce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 33rd minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Ponce having to interfere. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after 上海江南长兴造船农民工联队's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. In the 87th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anastasio Ponce was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by 上海江南长兴造船农民工联队's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
