The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franck Gamel in the 54th minute of the match. Spase Kastrati stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Gaona's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Spase Kastrati was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Spase Kastrati having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
