In the 11th minute Diego Ribas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Ribas in the 13th minute of the match. Samuel Navarro hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Pedro Manzanares stood somewhat misplaced when Sebastian Vettel came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 18 minute. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sérgio Perez having to make a save. A very good chance for a goal. 28 minutes into the match, Classe A Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Sérgio Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Diego Ribas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sérgio Perez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santino Seco went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Luis Cazalla hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Diego Ribas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Classe A Futebol Clube's Sérgio Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 65th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Vettel, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Classe A Futebol Clube's Pierre Gasly sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Ribas in the 73rd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Classe A Futebol Clube fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Classe A Futebol Clube's Diego Ribas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Santino Seco's late challenge caught a Classe A Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santino Seco helped the player get up and apologised. 88 minutes into the match, Classe A Futebol Clube's Diego Ribas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 90 minutes, Sebastian Vettel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Classe A Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Vettel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ignacio Mastache kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sérgio Perez. That made the score 5-4 in the 93 minute of play. There was no doubt that Classe A Futebol Clube were the better team. Classe A Futebol Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
