Gabi Martinelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Agostinho Negri scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 1-0. Joshua Garrido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabi Martinelli. Axel Montenegro scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raimo Ülend, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agostinho Negri in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raimo Ülend saved Korona Kielce from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dave Legzdins. Raimo Ülend showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Chesney Summers dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares, 2-1. In the 42nd minute, Korona Kielce's Abel Krorby seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Abel Krorby the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Korona Kielce protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Abel Krorby had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Colombia booed when Korona Kielce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Krorby didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimo Ülend made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 43rd minute of play. Axel Montenegro scored 2-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raimo Ülend, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 47th minute of play forced Korona Kielce's goalkeeper Raimo Ülend to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agostinho Negri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chesney Summers, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Korona Kielce's Raimo Ülend. Raimo Ülend was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agostinho Negri, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Abram Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Korona Kielce's Nihat Sarıdoğan was substituted for Nicolae Dobrin. Korona Kielce's Ivar Lilleeng was substituted for Gabi Martinelli. After 74 minutes of play, Korona Kielce's Alex Macedo made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Giles Knott managed to get in a good position for a shot. Korona Kielce's supporters rose to their feet, but Giles Knott was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dave Legzdins was slow to take the kick. During this time Korona Kielce's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Korona Kielce's Dave Legzdins to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Orlando Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Korona Kielce's Alex Macedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Korona Kielce fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Korona Kielce's Alex Macedo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 94th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Macedo in the 95th minute of the match. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
