An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Baumer in the 11th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Zuberbühler FC defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri. The Zuberbühler FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri should have stopped the shot. In the 15th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zuberbühler FC's Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 15th minute of play. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Zuberbühler FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Salvador Gisbert sped through Zuberbühler FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri. The Zuberbühler FC fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Zuberbühler FC's Marciano Min looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marciano Min's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, Marciano Min made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Marciano Min scored 4-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the game, Marciano Min cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saul Baumer was the one to do the kick off. Guillermo Mariano made in the 51st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tomas Illescas however managed to control. In the 52nd minute, Patricio Costa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri. The goal made the score 5-3. In the 55th minute, Saul Baumer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Zuberbühler FC's Marciano Min sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Zuberbühler FC's Marciano Min nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-3. Zuberbühler FC's Jonathan Iruinea was substituted for Cirilo Ebardo. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Lastur in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Florentino Lastur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Altúnov made in the 75th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Abelardo Nardo however managed to control. 78 minutes into the match, Saul Baumer notched a goal, 7-3, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Saul Baumer took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-3. After 88 minutes, Jonathan Iruinea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zuberbühler FC and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Zuberbühler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Iruinea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st of the match, Patricio Costa tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri got in the way and made a wonderful save. Florentino Lastur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zuberbühler FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
