The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Daniel Zorita a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witalis Czysty in the 94th minute of the match. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Skrwa Sikórz to leave the ground with a draw.
