In the 14th minute of the match Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Boncho Vlúchkov skillfully saved the ball. Arsenio Claus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Lakhdar Guendouz took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lakhdar Guendouz got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Lakhdar Guendouz sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Ganix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boncho Vlúchkov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 43rd minute of the match Leonard Bărnuțiu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 47th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

51 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Kacper Koperski came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kacper Koperski in the 52nd minute of the match. After 53 minutes of play, Salmiyah Power's Arsenio Claus made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! 57 minutes into the game, Salmiyah Power's Arsenio Claus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 60th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boncho Vlúchkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Claus, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Claus in the 67th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brahim Kerkar during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Salmiyah Power was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brahim Kerkar didn't get a good kick on the ball.
