Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Omar Gelmiro started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as ISPARTASPOR U21's Joško Van Landschoot slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. 6 minutes into the match, ISPARTASPOR U21's Joško Van Landschoot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ISPARTASPOR U21's Behzat Amir quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Guillermo Mariano, made in the 7th minute of the game. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Joško Van Landschoot tried to sneak it across the goal line. ISPARTASPOR U21's Omar Gelmiro got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Gelmiro in the 14th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Omar Gelmiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Gelmiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Joško Van Landschoot kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 in the 20 minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Omar Gelmiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Gelmiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 27th minute, Igor Manex hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joško Van Landschoot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After 38 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. After 42 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. After having played for 42 minutes, Joško Van Landschoot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ISPARTASPOR U21's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joško Van Landschoot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Joško Van Landschoot scored 5-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joško Van Landschoot's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Joshua Secada hit a great ball. After 65 minutes, Igor Manex mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ISPARTASPOR U21 and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes ISPARTASPOR U21 got a freekick which was hit by Igor Manex. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 74th minute of play forced ISPARTASPOR U21's goalkeeper Michel van der Bij to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Gelmiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joško Van Landschoot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, ISPARTASPOR U21's Joško Van Landschoot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Omar Gelmiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. ISPARTASPOR U21 made a substitution. Sol Campbell replaced Suelo De Toro. Omar Gelmiro took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. ISPARTASPOR U21 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
