Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Ermegildo Fazzini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Rocco Owen hit a great ball. Soso Cheishvili could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Bruno Barrett made a huge save. Curacao's Bruno Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Curacao from getting a goal against them. After 8 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Troy Kennedy. Ermegildo Fazzini succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 11th playminute. 13 minutes into the match, Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Said Hamed. Bruno Barrett was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Ermegildo Fazzini capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ermegildo Fazzini really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The Club Deportes La Serena fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Club Deportes La Serena's Ermegildo Fazzini looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Soso Cheishvili scored 7-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Club Deportes La Serena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Georgiy Fedoseev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
