Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Canada's Koby Wright started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alexsandro Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rohan Watson in the 9th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, I ritirandi di Canaus's goal looked a bit too open when Koby Wright came free, but Alexsandro Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jax Williamson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ezequiel Leizarraga in the 28th minute. Luka Harris blasted a shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexsandro Godoi having to make a save. In the 53rd minute of the match I ritirandi di Canaus got a corner. Canada's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The score was now 0-1. Canada made a substitution. Filip Edwards replaced Koby Wright. In the 64th minute, Andrea Tofani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jax Williamson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Alexsandro Godoi was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Theo Burton capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Theo Burton really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. I ritirandi di Canaus's Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo was substituted for Andrea Tofani. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luka Harris got free with Alexsandro Godoi in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alexsandro Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Edwards in the 87th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jax Williamson saved Canada from getting behind. In the 94th minute, Comunardo Cerri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Despite being the better team, Canada failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
