Ricardo Zorita didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 12th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Stefano in the 25th minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emilio Stefano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 27 minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Palben came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Moises Fernandino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erasmo Palben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Dušan Tomčo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erasmo Palben made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Fernandino got free with Dušan Tomčo in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute, Marco Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Stefano in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Liam Downes came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Liam Downes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Liam Downes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaspar Guillelmus went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 79th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Curbelo to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Gaspar Guillelmus sped through El Salvador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. In the 93rd minute, Erasmo Palben hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that IFC were the better team. IFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
