Marcos Cotilla stood somewhat misplaced when Dênis Vinhas came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 15 minute. 23 minutes into the game, one of Panama:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 38th minute Ronaldão Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute of the game Sidney Negri made a throw-in which Dênis Vinhas played forward. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Luís Gustavo Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Gustavo Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Negri in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Claudinho de Amorim got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 62 played minutes SE Tijolo 6 Furos got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho de Amorim. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 67th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Régis Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 81st match minute, SE Tijolo 6 Furos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho de Amorim to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 82nd minute of play forced SE Tijolo 6 Furos's goalkeeper Luís Gustavo Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Tomas Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abraham Alguacil's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luís Gustavo Bueno firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 92 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. The SE Tijolo 6 Furos players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
