Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dênis Vinhas started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes of play, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Gustavo Bueno was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 10th minute, Felippe de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Negri in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, SE Tijolo 6 Furos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frédson Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Maximiliano Escribano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SE Tijolo 6 Furos booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Dênis Vinhas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. Dênis Vinhas had several of the Uruguay's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Joaquin Gayoso as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldão Vinhas in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Fiori Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Dênis Vinhas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Luís Gustavo Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renatinho Reis hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Jaime Cazalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Gustavo Bueno was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Uruguay! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Naldo Vianna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SE Tijolo 6 Furos and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Naldo Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Naldo Vianna hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dênis Vinhas in the 58th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SE Tijolo 6 Furos made a substitution. Luisinho da Fonseca replaced Ronaldão Vinhas. Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fiori Viana, made in the 69th minute of the game. Francisco Seco scored 2-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Gustavo Bueno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 76 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Covarrubias. After a defensive mix-up in SE Tijolo 6 Furos's zone, Jaime Cazalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Gustavo Bueno came out of the goal and Jaime Cazalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Francisco Seco hit a great ball. A collision led to SE Tijolo 6 Furos getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Frédson Alagoano hit a great ball. Camilo Covarrubias charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Covarrubias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. SE Tijolo 6 Furos made a substitution. Cristóvão Munhoz replaced Dênis Vinhas. Camilo Covarrubias hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Fiori Viana in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SE Tijolo 6 Furos! Luisinho da Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Uruguay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
