An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Seco in the 4th minute of play forced Cöpacabana FC's goalkeeper Dagoberto Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Cöpacabana FC were awarded a corner. Talha İstanbul went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Harald Boman heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 10th minute Vito Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armağan Mukremin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vito Leite's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Armağan Mukremin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Stig-Åke Benet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Armağan Mukremin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vito Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armağan Mukremin having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Stig-Åke Benet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dagoberto Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Kalb in the 27th minute of the match. Cöpacabana FC's Dagoberto Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georg Gustavsson in the 28th minute of play. Harald Boman was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. Cöpacabana FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Vito Leites short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Armağan Mukremin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Levent Erkinay came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Flatline Zombies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Levent Erkinay couldn't finish the play. If Vito Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Cöpacabana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Seco came free, but Dagoberto Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armağan Mukremin made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Vito Leite sent off a good shot on target. Paulo Seco took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dagoberto Loureiro. Dagoberto Loureiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Flatline Zombies getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Paulo Seco hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Vito Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cöpacabana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vito Leite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armağan Mukremin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cöpacabana FC's Dobromir Brudnicki was substituted for Stig-Åke Benet. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabrício Berger during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Cöpacabana FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Berger. Vito Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Armağan Mukremin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dagoberto Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Gustavsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74thth minute of the game Talha İstanbul who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flatline Zombies's Armağan Mukremin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Cöpacabana FC's Vito Leite sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armağan Mukremin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 81 minutes into the game, when Diguinho Martins put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Cöpacabana FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Flatline Zombies:s goal. When the match had been going on for 82 minutes, Flatline Zombies's Paulo Seco got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dagoberto Loureiro. 84 minutes into the match, Cöpacabana FC's goalkeeper Dagoberto Loureiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Georg Gustavsson. Flatline Zombies's Finn Neeser was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dagoberto Loureiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vito Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Finn Neeser got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dagoberto Loureiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dagoberto Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Seco in the 93rd minute of play.
