Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rafael Sobis took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Guilherme Varela got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Guilherme Varela succeeded in the game's 6th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Luiz Guilherme Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Guilherme Varela in the 16th minute of play. When Alex Chicote fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Alex Chicote a yellow card for diving instead. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Guilherme Varela. In the 27th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Guilherme Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Guilherme Varela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bandelocos's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Luís Gustavo Urbano tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Nilson do Vale. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 35th minute. In the 40th minute, Luiz Guilherme Varela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Bandelocos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Brasil didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 played minutes Bandelocos got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo Urbano. In the 48th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd play minute Tomas Illescas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nilson do Vale. 2-2. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Sobis in the 58th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Guilherme Varela's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Guilherme Varela in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Bandelocos's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson do Vale came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Luiz Guilherme Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bandelocos's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Guilherme Varela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Nilson do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nilson do Vale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Guilherme Varela in the 88th minute of play. Claudinei Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudinei Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Claudinei Nascimento hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Sobis, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Luiz Guilherme Varela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Venezuela's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
