Milagros Fraga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 64th minute, Anthony Alvarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angel Alvarenga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rolando Noboa. Peru's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sven-Edvin Jansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 95 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Zico Zellier. Pablo Mora's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pablo Mora helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Mora to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GuateFortín.
