Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Linus Fredriksson got free with Thiago Pliego in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. Chile's Xavier Figueroa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Juan Carlos Alvarez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 19th minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Marlin FC's Linus Fredriksson in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 60 minutes of play, Marlin FC's Linus Fredriksson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! 71 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's Yin Yang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Yin Yang made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Orlando Casaus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Carlos Alvarez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After having played for 84 minutes, Linus Fredriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marlin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Linus Fredriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Yin Yang came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Marlin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yin Yang couldn't finish the play. Juan Carlos Alvarez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Casaus in the 87th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Carballar got free with Juan Carlos Alvarez in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan Carlos Alvarez was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Mariano Lacasa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mariano Lacasa really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. The Marlin FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chile's performance. The match ended with a win for Chile.
