A wasted opportunity for 娃哈哈代表队. Axel Tasis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 曾卫博 in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, 娃哈哈代表队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 叶彬义 to maneuver through the defense. Axel Tasis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for 鲁挺森. 娃哈哈代表队's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 36 played minutes Axel Tasis shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for 娃哈哈代表队's 鲁挺森 to catch but Axel Tasis was lucky. It became 2-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. In the 45th minute, 娃哈哈代表队's 曾卫博 dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet as 娃哈哈代表队's 蒋斌锋 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 4-1 after 48 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. 鲁挺森 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 曾卫博 in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 80th minute. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 曾卫博's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. The supporters of 娃哈哈代表队 booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 蒋斌锋 in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. In the 95th minute 曾卫博 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 曾卫博, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. 娃哈哈代表队 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
