In the 13th minute, Edmundo Espiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 鲁挺森 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 17 minutes into the match, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, 韩宽锋 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. After 24 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Espiga.
