The supporters of Costa Rica booed when FC Fanaticii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avram Prunaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Andrei Pavel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Jitaru in the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Jitaru in the 7th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a free kick in the 8th minute. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Măgură in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Horaţiu Zotincă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 16th minute. Marius Măgură's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benito Sanz firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Andrei Pavel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Fanaticii booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Măgură, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Jitaru in the 69th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Adrian Jitaru made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marius Măgură's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Moise Corduneanu kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. FC Fanaticii walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
