He walked away shaking his head. Knut Rudberg took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 23rd minute Kevin Keegan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Knut Rudberg. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Chen Ao Fan came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Skövde AIK's Chen Ao Fan got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Ronnie Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 52nd minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Ronnie Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ronnie Hellström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kevin Keegan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Keegan, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Hamrin in the 72nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Skövde AIK's Ronnie Hellström got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute, Knut Rudberg made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Skövde AIK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
