Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Joel Gaona made the kick off and thus started the match. When Melchor Hori fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vampiros Aztecas's protests and gave Melchor Hori a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mexico booed when Vampiros Aztecas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Hori didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 5 minutes of play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Pietro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Vampiros Aztecas's Ladislao Gaskon got a free kick in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Diego Pietro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diego Pietro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th match minute, Vampiros Aztecas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Gaskon to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Pietro having to interfere. Diego Pietro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute, Leonardo Leoz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diego Pietro came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Ladislao Gaskon was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. After 34 played minutes Vampiros Aztecas got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Gaskon. In the 35th minute of the match Joel Gaona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diego Pietro skillfully saved the ball. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play.
Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Diego Pietro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Diego Pietro came out and tried to block the shot, but Alberto Tafalla slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 52nd minute. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Pietro having to interfere. Vampiros Aztecas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Alberto Tafalla scored to the left of an out of position Diego Pietro, making the score, 0-7. Diego Pietro was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Joel Gaona capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joel Gaona really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Joakim Rhinow's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joakim Rhinow helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th match minute, Vampiros Aztecas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Rhinow to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Pietro. Vampiros Aztecas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 74 minutes, Alberto Tafalla made it 0-10 with a short kick to the right side. Vampiros Aztecas's Diego Pietro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Pietro. Vampiros Aztecas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Pietro having to interfere. Diego Pietro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Diego Pietro. Joel Gaona showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-12. Diego Pietro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 0-13, to the right of Vampiros Aztecas's Diego Pietro. Diego Pietro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Vampiros Aztecas defense, Facundo Cadaval kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego Pietro. The Vampiros Aztecas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Pietro should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vampiros Aztecas throughout the match.
