Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Folke Melin got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Pauliström's Henry Näver nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 10th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcolm Wall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magnus Björk made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. A hard shot 22 in the game by Folke Melin from a close distance when the talented Joaquin Gayoso managed to make a qualified save. Uruguay's players were relieved. After 26 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ivar Björklund who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Pauliström's corner Ivar Björklund fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joaquin Gayoso quite easily take care of the ball. After 29 minutes Pauliström's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Cazalla who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla to fire away a dangerous shot which Malcolm Wall despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 35th minute of play forced Pauliström's goalkeeper Malcolm Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Folke Melin came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joaquin Gayoso could save by the left post. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Pauliström was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivar Björklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Francisco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Seco couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute of the match, Henry Näver tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joaquin Gayoso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Escribano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Malcolm Wall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Henry Näver had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henry Näver was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Malcolm Wall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 57th minute. Malcolm Wall came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Escribano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Malcolm Wall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After 67 minutes Pauliström's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Cazalla who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Pauliström's goalie and right to Francisco Seco. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Pauliström's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bengt-Åke Biörk during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 68 played minutes Pauliström got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Åke Biörk. The audience was convinced that Folke Melin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Näver in the 84th minute of the match. Malcolm Wall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 88th minute. The audience was convinced that Folke Melin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximiliano Escribano during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, Maximiliano Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Beldad hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Ivar Björklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pauliström were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Uruguay for a fine match.
