When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Wictor Mejling made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 53rd minute. Jens-Åke Godholm charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kent Norberg in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Montes during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Bagarmossen were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
