After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Fabio Jaccarini managed to get in a good position for a shot. SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★'s supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Jaccarini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horaţiu Babarada got free with Dante Lacasa in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th minute SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★ were awarded a corner. Ilie Teodor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★'s Fabio Jaccarini to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Facundo Cadaval might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Du Ning Zhi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Facundo Cadaval ran back to his position shaking his head. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Du Ning Zhi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Fabio Jaccarini tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Du Ning Zhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 26th minute of play. SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★'s Du Ning Zhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 30th minute of play. Du Ning Zhi came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 35thth minute of the game Augustin Herlea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. After 40 minutes, Augustin Herlea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★ and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★ getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Augustin Herlea hit a great ball. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Horaţiu Babarada tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augustin Herlea was the one to do the kick off. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Luca Rouco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Du Ning Zhi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 68 minutes into the match, SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★'s goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Du Ning Zhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Facundo Cadaval got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Du Ning Zhi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Du Ning Zhi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horaţiu Babarada in the 84th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
