Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Larkins Potter started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Wara's Elias Urdaspal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 7th minute of play. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Wara's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Urdaspal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Larkins Potter made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 16 played minutes Wara got a freekick which was hit by Hemza Khaled. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lautaro Mancebo in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Urdaspal saved Wara from getting behind. Elias Urdaspal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Jean-Baptiste Boulebda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Wara getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Cheb El-Hadi hit a great ball. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Wara got a freekick which was hit by Jēkabs Pirtslāva. Facundo Cadaval could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Elias Urdaspal made a huge save. In the 56th minute, Faouzi Louahla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Mexico's Joel Gaona dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Larkins Potter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. 68 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Larkins Potter came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Urdaspal made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Elias Urdaspal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 71st minute of the match. The corner ended in Luca Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Wara's Elias Urdaspal did a great save. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Urdaspal having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Cheb El-Hadi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. After a rather tough play, Wara's Cheb El-Hadi got a free kick in the 76th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mexico players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
