The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 44 minutes, Elivélton Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hub Yap Para kap and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Primitivo Andino made in the 46th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Daniel Zorita. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hub Yap Para kap's goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Peter Schmeichel made a huge save. Peter Schmeichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hub Yap Para kap's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. In the 96th minute, Hub Yap Para kap's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
