After 6 played minutes Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo James. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Bihar in the 8th minute of play. Agamenón do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Pedro Manzanares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Bihar in the 15th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Colombia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC:s goal. Batıkan Muhsin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batıkan Muhsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Batıkan Muhsin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 36th minute of play. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Batıkan Muhsin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! Batıkan Muhsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedicto Bihar to make the kick off. Axel Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Batıkan Muhsin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 53 minutes into the match, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's goalkeeper Batıkan Muhsin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benedicto Bihar in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Batıkan Muhsin made a huge save. 58 minutes into the match, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's goalkeeper Batıkan Muhsin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Seçkin Öksüzoğlu in the 61st minute. Batıkan Muhsin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Bihar in the 68th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Batıkan Muhsin, 2-1. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. After 80 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Abram Secada. In the 85th minute, Kevin Mastache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Batıkan Muhsin was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Ignacio Mastache capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ignacio Mastache really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Abram Secada struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Batıkan Muhsin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
