Divina Comédia FC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Juventudes Libertárias's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frederico Varela took the corner. Juventudes Libertárias's Davi Amorim tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Divina Comédia FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Luiz Eduardo Martins hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Luiz Fabiano Gøl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Davi Amorim was relentless in the 79th minute of the game.
