After some careless play in the Galo na Veia FC™ defense, Acácio Ortiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elói Medeiros. The Galo na Veia FC™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elói Medeiros should have stopped the shot. Acácio Ortiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elói Medeiros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Acácio Ortiz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 7th minute Acácio Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elói Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Acácio Ortiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Galo na Veia FC™ booed when Imbituba - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Ramalho hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiko Martins in the 21st minute of play forced Imbituba - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Rodriguinho de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Acácio Ortiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elói Medeiros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Acácio Ortiz ran back to his position shaking his head. Galo na Veia FC™'s Elói Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acácio Ortiz in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Acácio Ortiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elói Medeiros was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 29 played minutes Imbituba - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Vinícius Leão. 35 minutes into the match, Galo na Veia FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Tavares came free, but Elói Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Yuri Queiroz took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Rodriguinho de Queirós to make any attempt to save it. Pedrinho Velloso made in the 43rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rodriguinho Cabral immediately put the ball in play. Diguinho Magalhães was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Cristóvão Linares made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Lyanco Militão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galo na Veia FC™ and the Imbituba - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lyanco Militão hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute Acácio Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elói Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Galo na Veia FC™'s goalkeeper Elói Medeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Acácio Ortiz. A collision led to Galo na Veia FC™ getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Kiko Martins hit a great ball. Joel Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Rodriguinho de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elói Medeiros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Acácio Ortiz in the 71st minute. Acácio Ortizs short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Elói Medeiros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Galo na Veia FC™'s zone, Cristóvão Linares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elói Medeiros came out of the goal and Cristóvão Linares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Acácio Ortiz got free with Elói Medeiros in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Imbituba - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Franklin Tavares hit a great ball. Galo na Veia FC™'s Elói Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Galo na Veia FC™ from getting a goal against them. If Rodriguinho Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafa Domingues lost his temper 92 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 91 minutes into the game, one of Galo na Veia FC™:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Elói Medeiros had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Diguinho Magalhães's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When the final whistle sounded Imbituba - FSCMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Galo na Veia FC™.
