In the 6th minute Elias Damasceno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th match minute, 卡納里尼奧 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Régis Vides to maneuver through the defense. After 7 minutes, Carlos Eduardo Maranhense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brasilino and the 卡納里尼奧 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Brasilino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Eduardo Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. Eliseu Alagoano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humberto Xavier was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Brasilino's goal looked a bit too open when Sidnei Dionísio came free, but Humberto Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Damasceno, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Eliseu Alagoano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Humberto Xavier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Brasilino's Ediberto Martins got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Humberto Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Damasceno in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Brasilino's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Alagoano came free, but Humberto Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Brasilino's goal looked a bit too open when Sidnei Dionísio came free, but Humberto Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 minutes of play, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Amílton Marinho made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Humberto Xavier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elias Damasceno scored 0-5 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Humberto Xavier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aírton Nóbrega stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Humberto Xavier was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Abel Vidal. Elias Damasceno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Humberto Xavier made a huge save. 57 minutes into the match, Elias Damasceno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Xavier. Brasilino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Damasceno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. After 61 played minutes 卡納里尼奧 FC got a freekick which was hit by Célio Albuquerque. In the 64th minute, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Eliseu Alagoano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. With a little luck, Brasilino's Humberto Xavier got control of the ball when Elias Damasceno tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Sidnei Dionísio took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Humberto Xavier to make any attempt to save it. 卡納里尼奧 FC made a substitution. Severino da Cunha replaced Vítor da Costa. 76 minutes into the match, Brasilino's goal looked a bit too open when Régis Vides came free, but Humberto Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Elias Damasceno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Xavier was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Brasilino's Humberto Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidnei Dionísio in the 82nd minute of play. Humberto Xavier was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Elias Damasceno capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elias Damasceno really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. Elias Damasceno took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Humberto Xavier. Humberto Xavier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Sidnei Dionísio took a quick shot and it went in 0-13 without a chance for Humberto Xavier to make any attempt to save it. The Brasilino fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 卡納里尼奧 FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
