In the 22nd minute, Bruninho Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Divina Comédia FC defense, Eriberto da Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bebeto Campidelis. The Divina Comédia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bebeto Campidelis should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Divina Comédia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oswaldo Paulista came free, but Bebeto Campidelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bebeto Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Magalhães in the 35th minute of the match. César Fantini's late challenge caught a Divina Comédia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The corner was taken by Téo Magalhães in the 60th minute. The referee gave Divina Comédia FC a penalty, 65 minutes into the game.
