Frank Rosado hit a great ball. Bebeto Campidelis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kiko Martins went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Elói Medeiros was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luiz Fabiano Gøl showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 24 minute of play. When Luiz Fabiano Gøl came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Divina Comédia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fabiano Gøl couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiko Martins in the 30th minute of play forced Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Bebeto Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aloísio Chulapa in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elói Medeiros saved Galo na Veia FC™ from getting behind. Yuri Queiroz scored 3-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bebeto Campidelis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elói Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geraldo Prado in the 42nd minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Fabiano Gøl was the one to do the kick off. Bebeto Campidelis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 74th minute of the match, Kiko Martins tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bebeto Campidelis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bebeto Campidelis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galo na Veia FC™'s goalkeeper Elói Medeiros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elói Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute.
