The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Luiz Perez got free with Frederico Smith in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Orlando Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Edinho Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Walmyr Dionísio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo MZ's goalkeeper Frederico Smith had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Augusto Novaes. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edinho Vasconcelos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, ITAFUT 4EVER's Emerson Leão got control of the ball when Vivaldo Soeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. ITAFUT 4EVER's Sidney Lima was substituted for Sebastião Diniz.
