Magno Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro do Valle in the 3rd minute of play. MarquinhosEC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 15 minutes into the match, Mamutes EC's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro do Valle came free, but Magno Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matei Răducu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Panno in the 17th minute of play. Magno Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curt Montes in the 19th minute of the match. Amadeu Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Matei Răducu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curt Montes in the 28th minute of play forced Mamutes EC's goalkeeper Magno Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Dave Panno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Răducu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Curt Montes made a precise shot to the right of Magno Correia. Mamutes EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Magno Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alessandro do Valle was the one to do the kick off. Matei Răducu had in the 55thth minute some difficulties stopping Valério Meireles's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 56th minute Alessandro do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magno Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dave Panno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matei Răducu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Matei Răducu came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Mamutes EC's Dave Panno. But to his dismay, Dave Panno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If 狄凡冰 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mamutes EC's Magno Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Freitas in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Mark Kovalev made a precise shot to the right of Magno Correia. Mamutes EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3.
