In the 22nd minute Quintino Carvalhais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Anaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Anaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quintino Carvalhais, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute Ezequiel Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laçın Cumayev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, SC Braga's Laçın Cumayev got control of the ball when Ezequiel Pereira tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ezequiel Pereira made a kick off. In the 51st minute Ezequiel Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laçın Cumayev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quintino Carvalhais's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Daniel Anaya skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Daniel Anaya made an important save on a dangerous shot by André Jordão in the 58th minute. With a little luck, Lobo Guará's Daniel Anaya got control of the ball when Quintino Carvalhais tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciro de Moraes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laçın Cumayev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lobo Guará's zone, Lu Xun Lei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Anaya came out of the goal and Lu Xun Lei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro de Moraes in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laçın Cumayev saved SC Braga from getting behind. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Ciro de Moraes sped through SC Braga's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Laçın Cumayev. After a defensive mix-up in SC Braga's zone, Ciro de Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laçın Cumayev came out of the goal and Ciro de Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th match minute, SC Braga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon-Egil Sætre to maneuver through the defense. Laçın Cumayev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lobo Guará fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Braga had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
