Adrian Mutu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronaldo Giovanelli having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Santana in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Mourinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Mutu in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronaldo Giovanelli saved Galo do Japi from getting behind. Carlos Santana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Mourinho having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Santana in the 19th minute of play forced MengãOShowS - FDFDF's goalkeeper Jose Mourinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Rômulo Moreira threw the ball into play from the sideline. Galo do Japi's Durvalino Caca-Rato quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 24 minutes into the match, Carlos Santana notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of MengãOShowS - FDFDF's Jose Mourinho. Galo do Japi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MengãOShowS - FDFDF the free kick. A collision led to Galo do Japi getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Durvalino Caca-Rato hit a great ball. Rômulo Moreira hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. MengãOShowS - FDFDF's Jose Mourinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Santana in the 46th minute of play. Galo do Japi were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after MengãOShowS - FDFDF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cafu Ringaa took the corner. The MengãOShowS - FDFDF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Galo do Japi were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
