In the 12th minute, Rafa da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iago Bala in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chiquinho Peres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 31 minutes, Dreas Jamieson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. America Futebol Clube SP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dreas Jamieson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 33 played minutes Iago Bala rounded Uraricuera EC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Glauco Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Rasiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glauco Aparecido in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute Glauco Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Rasiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in America Futebol Clube SP's zone, Glauco Aparecido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Rasiak came out of the goal and Glauco Aparecido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iago Bala made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Uraricuera EC's Glauco Aparecido dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Iago Bala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chiquinho Peres having to make a save. Chiquinho Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iago Bala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 played minutes Uraricuera EC got a freekick which was hit by Rafa da Costa. America Futebol Clube SP's Jeronimo Rico was substituted for Iago Bala. Chiquinho Peres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 80 minutes into the match, America Futebol Clube SP's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luiz Gonçalves came free, but Stefan Rasiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Uraricuera EC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Rico came free, but Chiquinho Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. America Futebol Clube SP's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
