The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when Lobo Guará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlad Imperiale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandrinho Machado hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Carlos Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Daniel Anaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Giovanelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Pereira in the 18th minute of play. Carlos Santana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Daniel Anaya made a huge save. Ezequiel Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ronaldo Giovanelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Galo do Japi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléberson Lara to maneuver through the defense. Ronaldo Giovanelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ezequiel Pereira's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Sancar Gazel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Lobo Guará booed when Galo do Japi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléberson Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezequiel Pereira in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronaldo Giovanelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the game, Durvalino Caca-Rato was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galo do Japi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lobo Guará the free kick. In the 45th match minute, Galo do Japi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durvalino Caca-Rato to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Carlos Santana made the kick off in the second half. Durvalino Caca-Rato made in the 53rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Paulo Renato Saraiva. In the 56th minute, Nilmar Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lobo Guará's Ciro de Moraes was substituted for Ezequiel Pereira. Lobo Guará's Willian Caca-Rato was substituted for Berker Başhekim. 68 minutes into the game, Ciro de Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ronaldo Giovanelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Galo do Japi getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Durvalino Caca-Rato hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Carlos Santana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciro de Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronaldo Giovanelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Galo do Japi's Cauan Catarinense got a free kick in the 85th minute. Aykut Adar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ronaldo Giovanelli firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ronaldo Giovanelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro de Moraes in the 89th minute of the match. Ciro de Moraes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Ronaldo Giovanelli 91 minutes into the match. In the 94th match minute, Lobo Guará was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kokki Mon to maneuver through the defense. The Lobo Guará players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
