Ronaldo Giovanelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes in the game Romeo Cangeopol did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gabriel Vinhas. Cauan Catarinense lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Galo do Japi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Relyn Futebol Clube:s goal. A throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game was made by Michael Åkerström with Romeo Cangeopol as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Michael Åkerström made in the 47th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Galo do Japi's Cléberson Lara. The Galo do Japi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Relyn Futebol Clube were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Renato Saraiva to make the kick off. Relyn Futebol Clube's Raimundo Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo Renato Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gino Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Relyn Futebol Clube's Abraham Knol was substituted for Michael Åkerström. Belmiro Caca-Rato made in the 69th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cléberson Lara. Ronaldo Giovanelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Vinhas in the 76th minute. Galo do Japi's Belmiro Caca-Rato quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ramiro de Lara, made in the 79th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Vinhas got free with Ronaldo Giovanelli in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Galo do Japi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Gabriel Vinhas scored to the left of an out of position Ronaldo Giovanelli, making the score, 0-2. 89 minutes into the game, Ramiro de Lara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Relyn Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galo do Japi the free kick. Paulo Renato Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Relyn Futebol Clube had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
