Lobo Guará were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Poetass FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vlad Imperiale took the corner. In the 21st minute, Zeng Xu Yuan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Daniel Anaya. The goal made the score 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Witalis Brysz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poetass FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Witalis Brysz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Anaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezequiel Pereira in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Maria Goiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Poetass FC booed when Lobo Guará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sancar Gazel didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Maria Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Pereira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Maria Goiano. Daniel Anaya came out and tried to block the shot, but Witalis Brysz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Witalis Brysz was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Lobo Guará was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. José Maria Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lobo Guará made a substitution. Aykut Adar replaced Kerimhan Özonder. The throw-in from Vicente Heidemann in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lobo Guará's Willian Caca-Rato. Poetass FC's José Maria Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Pereira in the 60th minute of play. Nagoi De la Torre made in the 64th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Witalis Brysz. Daniel Anaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witalis Brysz in the 66th minute of the match. Willian Caca-Rato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Poetass FC's Cleiton Carioca was substituted for Vicente Heidemann. Lobo Guará's Daniel Anaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witalis Brysz in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Cleiton Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lobo Guará's Ciro de Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Lobo Guará fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Lobo Guará's Ciro de Moraes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Poetass FC's José Maria Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro de Moraes in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's goal looked a bit too open when Zeng Xu Yuan came free, but Daniel Anaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Lobo Guará to win.
