Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dave Panno made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Mamutes EC's Dave Panno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonio Adán narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Mamutes EC's goal looked a bit too open when André Jordão came free, but Magno Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 12th minute of play forced Mamutes EC's goalkeeper Magno Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magno Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Jordão, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Panno came free, but Antonio Adán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Braga's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. He Peng Zhou was slow to take the kick. During this time Mamutes EC's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Mamutes EC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Moisés Bueno hit a great ball. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mamutes EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Quintino Carvalhais was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Braga's players had a chance to rest. Mamutes EC's Dave Panno got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Magno Correia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quintino Carvalhais in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Amadeu Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mamutes EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeu Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Adán breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in SC Braga's zone, Dave Panno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Adán came out of the goal and Dave Panno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Braga's Antonio Adán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Panno in the 33rd minute of play. In the 39th minute, Zigmantas Gimbutas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Magno Correia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Dave Panno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
The wind increased when Zigmantas Gimbutas made the kick off in the second half. Quintino Carvalhais scored 2-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Magno Correia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When SC Braga's Quintino Carvalhais in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mamutes EC's goalie prevented a goal. Dave Panno might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Adán. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dave Panno ran back to his position shaking his head. Antonio Adán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Panno, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Magno Correia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Quintino Carvalhais's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quintino Carvalhais in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Magno Correia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amadeu Rocha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonio Adán having to make a save. SC Braga made a substitution. Antonio Cieri replaced Quintino Carvalhais. SC Braga made a substitution. Geraldo Lucas replaced André Jordão. With a little luck, SC Braga's Antonio Adán got control of the ball when Amadeu Rocha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Magno Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 89th minute of play. Magno Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Cieri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Magno Correia came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Braga's Stig-Åke Mattsson. But to his dismay, Stig-Åke Mattsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Mamutes EC's Väino Kartul was substituted for Lejf Snefog. SC Braga's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
