The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but João Vítor Porto advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 10th minute. Olav Suur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Henriques, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Punua's Olav Suur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Vítor Porto in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute of the match ITAFUT 4EVER got a corner. Punua's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jean-Paul Møffelmand ran over to the corner to take the kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Sand was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Punua's goal looked a bit too open when José Sand came free, but Olav Suur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastião Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olav Suur having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Punua's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after José Sand fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Sand got free with Olav Suur in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, ITAFUT 4EVER's Olav Suur threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from José Sand, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Olav Suur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Sand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Punua's Martin Hug was substituted for Mihai Ozon. Olav Suur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sidney Bertassi in the 86th minute. If Jordan Henderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jardel Baggio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olav Suur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Olav Suur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jardel Baggio in the 91st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Punua defense, Sidney Bertassi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olav Suur. The Punua fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olav Suur should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded ITAFUT 4EVER left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Punua.
