Mamutes EC's Magno Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Faria in the 7th minute of play. Walter Samuel hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Vinhas in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magno Correia saved Mamutes EC from getting behind. A collision led to Mamutes EC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. 邱邦岚 hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mamutes EC's zone, Gabriel Vinhas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magno Correia came out of the goal and Gabriel Vinhas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Relyn Futebol Clube's Gino Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Panno in the 35th minute of play. Oséias Correia hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute Dave Panno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gino Velasco made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Dave Panno sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the match, Mamutes EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Vinhas came free, but Magno Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Vinhas was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Gabriel Vinhas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mamutes EC's Magno Correia. Magno Correia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gino Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Panno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gino Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Panno in the 55th minute of play. Mamutes EC's Magno Correia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Mamutes EC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Väino Kartul managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mamutes EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Väino Kartul was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gino Velasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Relyn Futebol Clube made a substitution. Ademar Meirelles replaced Walter Samuel. Raimundo Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Magno Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Relyn Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when He Peng Zhou came free, but Gino Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Qu Jun Fan during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mamutes EC's 邱邦岚 got his second yellow card of the match in the 73rd minute. The referee ordered 邱邦岚 off the ground. After 73 played minutes Mamutes EC got a freekick which was hit by 邱邦岚. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Väino Kartul in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gino Velasco saved Relyn Futebol Clube from getting behind. Gino Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from He Peng Zhou, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Mamutes EC's Valdo Dantas was substituted for Dave Panno. Valério Meireles got a throw-in 83 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Väino Kartul. Gabriel Vinhas came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Magno Correia could save by the left post. Relyn Futebol Clube's Oséias Correia managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Valério Meireles in the 92 minute of the game. The supporters of Mamutes EC booed when Relyn Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Cangeopol didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Relyn Futebol Clube supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Relyn Futebol Clube would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
