Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pedro Munhoz got the match started through his kick off. Thomás Toscano came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Uraricuera EC's Pedro Munhoz. But to his dismay, Pedro Munhoz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Capibaribe Stars getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Mohamed Basso hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Basso in the 15th minute of play forced Uraricuera EC's goalkeeper Chiquinho Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Capibaribe Stars were awarded a corner. Wilton Fontes went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Mihnea Zamfir got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Chiquinho Peres quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 19 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's Mohamed Basso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chiquinho Peres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Mohamed Basso came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Capibaribe Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamed Basso couldn't finish the play. Marcelo Domingues made in the 30th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Pedro Munhoz however managed to control. 41 minutes into the match, Uraricuera EC's goalkeeper Chiquinho Peres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hicham Al Azka. The supporters of Capibaribe Stars booed when Uraricuera EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mohamed Basso struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Chiquinho Peres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capibaribe Stars. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mohamed Basso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Uraricuera EC defense, Mohamed Basso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chiquinho Peres. The Uraricuera EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chiquinho Peres should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute, Jarl Rossebø got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The long shot by 史挺宇 in the 66th minute really tested Thomás Toscano's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience was convinced that Mohamed Basso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chiquinho Peres was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Basso in the 71st minute of play forced Uraricuera EC's goalkeeper Chiquinho Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mohamed Basso took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chiquinho Peres. Chiquinho Peres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Chiquinho Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Basso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the game, Capibaribe Stars's Mohamed Basso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chiquinho Peres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 85th minute, Mihnea Zamfir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Capibaribe Stars getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Lothar Matthäus hit a great ball. 史挺宇's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomás Toscano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Chiquinho Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Basso in the 91st minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Capibaribe Stars had played much better football throughout.
